You dont say what grade or subject, so it is hard to say how
difficult it will be for you to find a job. Elementary and
English/History are very overcrowded. I'm in my second year
of a science job in a good Chester County Pa. district. I
have a contract, but there is no real "security" until you
have tenure after 3 years. However, my district doesnt do the
game that CB does with its teachers. They hire you expecting
you to stay. They can of course, choose not renew you, but I
dont think it happens much.
