    You can't. According to the PA unemployment website, there is a
    special (unfortunate) exception for teachers; they are not
    considered seasonal workers in the Commonwealth. Technically,
    you have not been laid off, at least in the Dept of Labor's
    opinion.

    It makes summer a lean time for subs, I know. Hang in there.
