in an effort to cut sick days our district is now making
teachers cover if a person calls out sick.
Ex. A teacher calls out sick....whoever has a free period
9-10 covers then, whoever free from 10-11, etc...so forth.
Actually 40 min increments thats how long our planning
periods are.
So on a given day when a teacher is out ill.that class
could have 5, 6 or more teachers....really effective huh?
Just curious...is there any state law that prohibits this?
