    If it shows up on your records, districts might pass on you.
    We passed on letting a young woman student teach because of a
    shoplifting offense which she claimed wasn't her fault. If I
    saw "disorderly conduct," I'd have a negative reaction to you
    before I even met you, as unfair as that might be.

    Obviously, it's better not to have it on your record. There's
    just too much competition.
